Hackers are commonly seen as mysterious cyber criminals breaking into computer systems. But many hackers have countered this misconception and generalisation, stressing that hacking takes various forms, which can be creative rather than malicious. This talk shows the development of the issue and illustrates the diversity and ingenuity of hacker cultures.
