One in three people will get cancer at some time. Fortunately, more and more people are surviving a cancer diagnosis. But it’s not always easy to live with cancer and after it. The effects of cancer and their treatment can have a strong and prolonged influence on daily life. A good lifestyle is therefore important, both before and after cancer is diagnosed. The risk of developing cancer can be reduced by eating healthily and getting enough exercise. Furthermore, a good lifestyle can promote physical and mental health after cancer as well.
